Imagine waking up every morning with lashes that look like they’ve been curled to perfection and lightly coated with the most natural looking mascara available on the market – and all before you’ve even had your morning coffee. As impossible as it may sound, these perfect natural lashes aren’t just a distant dream; there’s one treatment that will give you the doe eyes you’ve always wanted. We’re talking lash lifts.

A lash lift is basically a perm for your eyelashes that will make your eyes look bigger and brighter. Unlike lash extensions, this treatment curls the lash from root to tip, revealing its full length, creating the appearance of longer, fuller, lashes – enhancing the curve and deepening the color for a subtly glamorous look.

The Lowdown

All lashes have a natural shape and growing pattern, this process chemically alters that shape using a small curling rod and a lifting solution. Prior to the treatment, your lash specialist will give you a brief consultation to determine the lash style you’re hoping to achieve. Your technician will then will cleanse the eye area and place a silicone rod onto the eyelids. The natural lashes are then curled over and attached to the rod with an adhesive to set the lashes. Once the lashes are in position, the lifting lotion is applied to allow the lashes to mold around the curling rod, followed by a setting lotion that sets the shape.

Next, a tint is applied to darken and lift your lashes even more, creating a naturally defined look.

The results typically last four to six weeks, depending on how quickly your eyelashes grow and your skin type. If you have oily skin or use a lot of oils on your face, it can cause the effects to fade faster. No makeup, or water should come in to contact with your lashes for at least 24 hours to ensure the lift sets correctly into shape.

A lash lift won’t harm your natural eyelashes, but it’s best compared to dying your hair. When it’s done in moderation, (it’s best to wait six weeks between appointments), by our trained technicians you can enjoy having strong, healthy, curled lashes for weeks at a time.

Couple your new fluttery eyelashes with a feathered brow and blushed lip and you’ll be ready to face the world with a “woke up like this” effortlessly beautiful look. Every. Single. Day.

4 Ways to Keep Your Lashes Lifted for Longer

  1. Keep them dry for the first 48 hours after the treatment. Avoid getting them wet with water, sweat or steam.
  2. Avoid water-proof makeup and oil-based formulas that could disrupt the shape of the lashes.
  3. Avoid using an eyelash curler, not that you’ll need it anyway!
  4. Use a nourishing eyelash serum between appointments to keep your lashes strong and conditioned.
