If Instagram brow trends are anything to go by, then brow lamination is set to be the must-have style in 2021. So, if you like the look of microbladed brows but you’re not quite ready to go under the needle, then read on for the pain-free, less invasive, and less permanent alternative, that will have your arches looking just as perfect, in a fraction of the time.

What is Brow Lamination?

Eyebrow lamination is an innovative three-step treatment meant to straighten out brow hair, essentially, a lash lift for your brows. It’s great for filling gaps, adding definition, and giving the illusion of more hair to sparse brows.

Every hair is fanned out to perfection, giving a result very similar to the full and feathery microbladed brows, but with zero pain or needles.

What’s the process?

If you’re looking for thicker, fuller and better shaped brows, our skilled Brau artists can create the look of your dreams in a few simple steps.

Step 1:

First a lifting balm is applied to coax the hairs into the desired shape, guiding your brows to grow in the right direction. They’ll then be tightly covered and pressed with a sheet of plastic wrap, to really help the laminating process.  This will be left to work for 8 to 10 minutes.

Step 2:

Next, a neutralizing cream is brushed on the brows, which sets the hair in to its new shape. After covering again with another sheet of plastic wrap, the cream is left to set for another 8 to 10 minutes.

Step 3:

A volumizing solution is applied to the brows to instantly hydrate and prevent any dryness or breakage.

Step 4:

Your Brau technician will mix a custom-blended tint to shape and intensify your brows. This bespoke color is applied and left for around 10 minutes.

Step 5:

If needed, a few hairs will be strategically removed to give you the most defined shape, to frame your face and lift your features. Finally, a nourishing serum is applied for added softness, strength and shine.

Sleek, selfie-ready brows in under an hour.

How long does it last?

Whether you like them fluffy and soft or straight and glossy, your new couture brows will last about eight weeks after treatment.

Is it bad for your brows?

In a word: no. The treatment is carried out by trained brow specialists that know the exact timings for application and removal of the products to avoid any mishaps. The volumizing solution and nourishing serum will work their magic to instantly rehydrate and condition brow hair. Post-treatment, leave the hydrating serum on your brows for a full 24 hours, avoiding sweating and contact with water.

How to maintain your perfect brows post-treatment?

Say goodbye to your eyebrow pencil, powder and brow gel, because all you’ll really need to keep your eyebrows on fleek is a simple spoolie brush.  Try to apply a serum, such as the M2 Beauté Eyebrow Renewing Serum, or an oil on your brows every night to maintain hydration. Gently pat a small drop on your brows as the last step in your skincare routine.
